Have a Honda Pilot with OEM tires of Bridgestone which are worn at 30,000 miles. Have decided to replace with either Uniroyal Liberator A/T from Wallmart or Kelly Safari Trex.
Anyone with experience on either or both of these? Would like good traction on snow and wet pavement which the ones I have now did not provide.

neither of those tires will outperform the OEM tires in onroad performance. If you're having traction problems with OE tires in a Honda Pilot, perhaps you need to alter your driving style a bit.

I never have driven a car or SUV easy but I have never had OEM tires not have as much traction on wet, snowy roads. On sporty cars that I had many years ago, I would not get past 20,000 miles but that was expected since the tires I used were made to hug the road and leave rubber. However, in other than sporty cars I have gotten more than 30,000 miles on OEM tires.
I guess my question was more of which of the above tires, if given the choice, would you use but only if you had experience with those tires.

Kelly's tend to have pretty hard compounds and should offer you more life. Also don't expect them to offer more grip than your OE tires.

Uniroyals tend to ride better, but not hold up to abuse as well. They might be a little better in the snow than your OE's.

It depends what you want.

Thanks. i have had three sets of liberators and i have only had one flat tire they work and hold up just fine for ma and i drive like a maniac
