My left side rear brake is always sticking, sometimes it lets go but most of the time it is trying to brake. I just drove 20 miles and the drum was smoken hot. I have changed the adjuster and backed it completely off but over time it continues to tighten up again. Very bad gas mileage. any ideas.

Try bleeding that cylinder. If that doesn't work start looking at the brake cylinder itself...Sounds like it's starting to sieze... They're cheap to replace.

Make sure the flex hose to that wheel is not collapsing internally, common problem, assuming there is a seperate one that wheel.
