hi everyone
I'm here from less than 1 year buy I'd a lot from this forum: fun, skills, friends, enought to me :grinno:
so I decided to do something to thanks: I done a free pdf calendar for 06: images was taken from GT4: everyone my shoot driving those fantastic beast.
here the thumbnail with related links for the pdf vector/images150dpi file: good enough to print trought every A4/letter proofer
fell free to download, please advise me in case of widthband saturation/download problem (but I hosted hi-res in my own host, may be problems with thumbs) o other text/graphic troubles in the calendar

thanks everyone
giovanni

and.. for other boards members/friends who post also in here: my apologies I choose to post only in AF not like a forum preference but only to not to overlap other initiatives like amazing Guido's calendar. So I'm sure you could understand. Cheers :)

notes: to download pdf file just browse it and save as..

Very generous and great work. This will go on the wall by my computer to remind me to occaisionally get the PS2 and GT4 running and not spend all my time modelling and checking out AF.

hi guys thanks everyone for comments: i forgot:
1 to do best Christmas whises to you and families (those people who abide us when we're modelling):grinno:
2 the white space under the cover's pict is for '06 modelling programs too wide? :evillol:

67shelbymustang: simply connect a usb HD device (like a pendisk) to the front ps2 conn. and save on it after shoot performing, it's easy

This is great. Nice work.

I have this game and rarely play it. Don't have the 'wheel' so don't enjoy it as much.... Maybe Santa will bring me the DFP2.....

that wheel is awesome, u really need it to enjoy the game fully. Thought I wish the steering wheel was alittle bit bigger, but hey, $125 well spent, plus it works on my computer too, which means I can play collin mcrae and NFS:MS, graphics just arnt the same on a PS2 like they are on a comp

Very nice calendar!
Once you have pics on your computer, did you simply use photoshop or you have some kind of program to make the calendar?
Thanks!

there're a lot of software/freeware for that..
My choose was on Illustrator: I had to work a little bit more but I had not expression limits than my creativity: with PSD I only managed pics

those look incredible. i'm going to have to try that out.. new desktop background every day :)

GT4 with the wheel is cool - it makes it much harder, but still not too much more realistic compared to real racing, at least with the version i have. i have the logitech version intended for GT3 (paddle shifter and 200 degree turning radius compared to knob shifter and 900 something degrees of turning). my biggest problem is since there is no pedal feedback, it doesn't make that control aspect tooooo much different from the controller, and its not realistic. the wheel also doesnt really seem to respond to turning (even at low speeds just messing around) like i feel it should, but i guess thats because its only 200 degree turns. still a lot of fun though

Your right about the pedals not being responsive, I dont think they really have a way of making it feedback, unless if the platform for the pedals was much larger, though if it were heavier I wouldn't mind. The 900 degree wheel is soo much better, with only partial feedback, its like the wheels I've used before, but it gives u the option of full feedback which is a bitch to control, especially steering at high speeds & rally racing...I swear I dunno how the pros do it, but with that much rumbling, I just dunno... I have seen a tutorial somewhere where you can increase the feel you have on the pedals by putting a squash ball in it to add resistence, but ill need to search for it.

Super bump for gionc!

I've had my kick-ass free gionc brand GT4 calendar up at my desk at work since January first. :)

Recently, I had a visitor that pulled it off my wall...

She said she had a better one for me...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SilverS2000/picture2.jpg

Nice try, lady! As soon as she walked away, I put my GT4 calendar back up!! :p  :icon16:

(BTW that's her in the right panel of the calendar she's holding...)

OK, that video makes alot more sense now- I'd forgotten about Gio's calender! I saw how quickly you (I assume that was you) grabbed it back from her after she took it down. :bigthumb: (Granted I might have put her's up too, next to Gio's)
