Just that video is totally awesome... I've never seen anybody launch a car on a dyno, let alone an awd dyno.
It's just so violent... totally cool.
That video had my jaw to the floor... it rates up there in my "wow" factor.

I wouldn't ever launch a car on the dyno ... I had Hyde break loose from dyno once during a normal 3rd-gear pull. I would hate to see what would happen on a "launch."

indeed, it would be scary to say the least.
My only guess is that they had some sort of "quater mile" program in the dyno. You see alot of these at Biker rallies, where d00ds bring up there custom bikes onto these dyno machines, and there's a full on christmas tree.
The bikes are readied and they go full throttle till the light says they've gone a 1/4 mile. It also gives thema dyno read out too...
So maybe they had one setup for a car? Still... crazyy!

wow that was freaking awesome. it definitly looked like a 1/4 mile simulation program and since he ended in 4th he should be trapping over 120mph. the car looks nice its just the stickers that kinda makes it look ricey, but i look the wheels alot and remember luo's that gtr does need a wing that big since they do wangan racing ( highway battles ) where they average 180+mph and cut thru traffic and corner.
