My 97 Tahoe just passed the 108k mark, and knock-on-wood I haven't had anything major done to it in since I bought it at 77k. It's due to go into the shop next week for some minor things, and since it's hard for me to find time to get it there I'd like to get anything done that it might need.

I'm looking for suggestions on things that should be checked/replaced given the miles that are on it? What are the common 100k+ failure items that I might consider replacing now rather than getting let down? I know its a tough call, but I'm just looking to learn from others experiences.

I did replace the alternator about a month ago due to its failure.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
