OIL LEAK... cooler pipes rusty?

Ok here is the next problem... after noticing a hole in my muffler which is probably sucking back the gas and destroying my fuel efficiency I noticed there is quite a bit of oil pooling in my driveway.

Put the car on stands and tried to pinpoint the oil leak. I think its coming from two metal pipes that at one end is attached to the oil filter housing. (I have no idea if these are the correct names but I'm sure somebody will let me know if I'm on crack...)

These pipes are heavily corroded and i think i see oil coming from them. Aside from the oil pan I'm not too sure where else oil could be leaking from.

Does anyone know how to change these? Does it require draining all the oil from the pan? What about special tools required, or if the engine or other parts need to be removed in order to gain access...

I have checked the haynes manual but I cannot find anything in regards to oil cooler pipe removal/installation...

I appreciate your help...Thanks in advance.

Check the valve cover gaskets first...

these seem to leak first and it's hard to tell...

but yep... what gets pumped up flows down inside or out... lol.
