clutch fluid?1quickneon 12-19-2005, 08:19 PM Whats up does a 96 stick neon need clutch fluid? i know u put brake fluid in cars that need it but theres no resovoir for it. Does it need it? dimefury 12-19-2005, 08:30 PM the car probably has a cable-type clutch. not sure. if it had a hydrolic clutch it would have a clutch master cylinder, probably on the firewall next to the brake master cylinder. if it had a hydro. clutch it would, most likely, use brake fluid. look at the firewall next to the brake master. hope that helps. 99 Neon R/T 12-20-2005, 01:25 PM just cable no fluid das2123 12-20-2005, 02:30 PM just cable, no fluid1995-2000 are cable and 2001 and up are hydraulic. dimefury 12-20-2005, 04:58 PM why do you ask? is there something wrong with your clutch? 99 Neon R/T 12-20-2005, 09:30 PM 1995-2000 are cable and 2001 and up are hydraulic.
