eh eh great job on this big one
my child go crazy for those monster jam stuff: they become to be famous also on here, from last year. No models for el toro loco?: i love it

No, there is no El Toro Loco model, but they do have the Ninja Turtle and Jurassic Attack model, which are pretty good and I bet your kid would love them.

That is a nice job with the Gravedigger: I have the kit and the molding and fit is lower quality than the older Bigfoot tube-frame kit, but it looks like an easier build.

One tip, try using the wheels, or at least cast the center planetary parts, from the stars-and-stripes Bigfoot kit. The ones in the new AMT kits are really out-of-scale.

Is this some kind of monster truck?
Very interesting and good work so far. :)

Yeah, some kind of monster truck.... LOL

Thanks to marketing by the evil Clear Channel, and Bigfoot screwing themselves over by starting their own tours, and Gravedigger looking so badass, it's been the most popular monster truck in the USA for maybe 10 years now. Much moreso than Bigfoot.

AMT came out with these kits either late last year or early this year. Pretty much the same underneath, and the parts quality isn't that great, and frankly I don't know how accurate they are, but it looks like they build up well:

It's strange, the old tube-frame Bigfoot kits, now sold with a new stars-and-stripes decal set, was a little tricky to build, but the parts looked good and it was a VERY accurate model. Even today the 12+ year old molds look better than those three new ones.

TIME FOR THE HEADLIGHTS TO LIGHT UP IN THESE PICS

HEADLIGHTS OFF:

HEADLIGHTS ON THEY ARE RED EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOK ORANGE FOR SOME REASON

Nice. They look pretty close to the correct red to me.

Nice job. Looks like a fun build.

So are Monster Trucks motorsports??

I think they count as motorsports: The racing is legit, but I don't like how the freestyle sessions have just become 'who can crash the truck bigger'.

That looks fantastic! Any chance you could elaborate on your lighting set up? What paint did you use for the roll-cage? Looks almost dead on!
Nice job!
