0. Welcome to AF.

1. it depends on what you want to change. most of these guys have spent hundreds of hours and dollars on both interior and exterior. check out http://www.cardomain.com/ride/832815 (dmbrisket's truck), http://www.pghconsulting.net/teal/ (rlith's blazer) and http://www.pghconsulting.net/blazer/ (old blazer) with a little modding almost anything's possible.
these are just the ones that come to mind right now!

2. Headlights on? you've got Daytime Runnning Lights (DRL's)!

3. it probaly wouldn't be hard to get ground effects, its just fiberglass and adhesive tape.

4. leaking? No, ive never noticed it. check the weather striping.

thanks for your help. i fixed the leak in my back window. it was a low spot in the weather stripping. it was never garaged so ever time it rained water would set there and i guess just rotted the rubber. so are the chevrolet Xtreme ground effects hard to come buy? where would i be able to find a set?

i doubt they are difficult to find. i'd try ebay first, at least there you might be able to find the entire kit in one place. I'm not a fan of just surfing the internet for sites that sell s-10 parts. does anyone else have ideas on where to get a body kit?

i agree with mike
0 welcome to AF and we will be able to help ya, little background, rlith is just amazing with anything he touches, blazer lt isnt as 'mod happy' as some of the rest but a very knowlageable person, overboard project is a smart guy and pretty well knows what hes talken about when he opens his mouth (or types, i guess) i am a machanic and machanic student, i dont know it all, yet, but im getting there, ive (as mike said) have hundreds of hours and thousands into my dime. as for your questions
1 what parts are you looking to change? almost anything is possible with some inginuity and thinking ahead, for something like bucket seats, just find a totaled blazer and bring your socket and torx set, the seats are a rare t47 for the best fit on stubborn bolts, t 45 works, but not the best.
2 your headlights stay on because of 2 things, 1 you have daytime running lights (drl's) blazerlt did an excellent job explaining on how to disable them, and 2 you have automatic night lights, forgot who, but i beleve someone here did a how to on how to disable that
3 how hard an extreme kit is to swap depends, the extremes are usually an extended cab, short box flair side, if you dont match the truck to a t, then you cant do an extreme swap, but plunty of companys (streetbeatcustoms.com, stylinconcepts.com, jcwhitney, and the best one Ebay) all have body kits for our trucks, i have a std. cab Long box, which was a bitch to find a kit for, and e bay was the ONLY place to have one, xeon didn't even make a kit for my spicific truck.
4 you fixed it already, great job
and
5, you havn't asked yet, but a small block (say out of an f body car...) fits into our trucks with little extras, and if you wanna be a real fast ass, some inginuity will make a big block fit... sorry to hear about your f body, i have an 89 firbird, in just amazing original shape, its alwase sad to see beautiful cars go :(
but once again welcome abord, were here to help ya
