Question about high beams on Civics....SilverY2KCivic 06-06-2002, 03:44 AM Something I noticed the otherday, is that when your normal high beam is on (for H4 bulb Civics at least) ONLY the high beam filamanet is lit. But if you pull back the headlight knob too where you'd flick them or hold them on without totally enguaging them, it leaves the low beam filament on along with the high beam filament. Is there a way that I can have that happen ANYTIME my high beams are on, weather I hold the knob for them to be on, or click the knob to where they stay on till you click it back. I would like for both beams to be on simutaniously if that's possible. And if it is, how would I go about doing it, and would it be alright and cause no problems with my lighting system if I were to do that? Thanks! :) kicker1_solo 06-06-2002, 03:50 AM heh, I've actually noticed that too in my 00 civic. I've actually held it back and driven with both of them on, lots of light that way. I love it. Anyways, I don't know how you would do it to have them both on, but if it's simple enough, I'd like to do it to my car. :) HookdUpTeg99 06-06-2002, 07:58 AM JC Whitney has a kit that will allow cars to do this. It is a little electronic module that u connect im guessing somewhere between the battery and your headlights. It says it will allow both your high and low beams to be on at the same time. Mite wanna check that out...wasn't very expensive either. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
