grand am running lamps/remote start

was wondering???? I want to disable the running lamp during remote start. I was thinking that closing the parking brake circuit would do the trick.
Any thoughts?????
I just installed a bulldog deluxe 500 and it works great. not too hard to install either. though I am only using it for the starter not the alarm features.

I used db pass23 for the immobilizer. 4connections
12v, neg, to remote sarter, and data pin #2 at obdII connector. Quick and easy. Self code learning for passlock 2.
