Hello guys;

I just bought a 1999 Safari SLE AWD, and the temperature sensor indicates OC. This probably means that the sensor is bad or the connection is dirty or corroded. I would like to know where this sensor is located? It's probably near the frot of the radiator, but where exactly should I look to find it?

Thanks.

Yves.

Not exactly certain where it is on a 1999, however, it is definitely located behind the grille, or possibly on a frame horn. The wire harness you're looking for will dead end at the sensor. One thing for sure, it's not the sensor with a yellow connector. That is a sensor for the SRS (air bag). BTW the "OC" may stand for "open circuit", just a guess.
