I dont know if this will work the same in paint shop pro.. but.. whe nI am using the lasso tool to select the car.. how to I make like the headlights not selections so I dont end up painting them when I decide to try to switch up the color?? any help would be awsome.. THANKS!

make the selection of the entire car.

then areas u do NOT want selected hold down control and select them.

holding down ctrl switches to the lasso "-" function. which will subtract any new selection that is within your previous selection.
