98 contour random misfire helpCTdameis 12-13-2005, 09:58 AM I have a 98 contour 6 cyl 2.5, the computer says it has a random misfire i changed all the plugs and wires its a random misfire so i dont think its the timing i dont want to buy a computer or coil till im sure thats the problem beyondloadedSE 12-13-2005, 10:05 AM Just make sure the wires are secure to the coil pack and some sort of electrical grease is applied to the contact point of the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Does it misfire constantly or just every now and then?
