I got a 99 cougar for dirt cheap the only thing wrong with it is the rims are all rusted up bad. I'm not going to buy new wheels till the winter is over so does anyone have an idea how to get it off I heard something about acid?

what kind of wheels? steel? alloy? pics might help.

if they alloy you cant get it off really. the finish would be wrecked by any rust remover products
