Hi,
I'm posting because I have a feeling this is not all that uncommon of a problem since this has also happened on the passenger door.

A couple days ago I went to close the driver door and it seemed as though something was in the way, like the seatbelt hook or something. After checking around, it was clear there were no obstructions so after 3 or 4 attempts, the door finally latched. The problem now is that I cannot open the door and it seems as though the door lock is stuck midway between locked and unlocked. When it happened on the passenger door a couple years ago, I just fiddled with the lock a couple times and it opened right up. That doesn't seem to be working now.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without opening the door?
