Okay, first of all im new to the boards and know very little about cars. Looking forward in the upcoming experiences.

I would like to know is it legal to change the lights of a car? The brake lights would be red and signal would be yellow, would it be possible and legal to change it all to blueish?

Also i was wondering if anyone have sites on where i can buy doors for my integra... (Not the regualr ones the one that doesnt need keys and open by remote)

Something like in this picture

hey welcome to af. i dont really know the exact law on tailights but i know that cops have problems with them being hyperwhite. dont know bout blue though u will have to get somebody else to answer that. thats a sweet lookin teg in the pic with the lambourghini??? doors.
for ur other ? about the doors, u dont need to buy all new doors u just have to shave the door handles. i think it costs about 150 or something like that per door. hope this helps.:D

having blueish lights is illegal in most state.
you can all ways take your chances. usually depends on the officer.
my friend just got pulled over for blue corner bulbs..
gave him a fix-it ticket. so he got off lucky

By the way, those are 94 or so Toyota MR-2 taillights on that Teg.

Well, I gues you could say that any colored taillights are legal anywhere, just as long as when you break, it's red; when you turn, it's yellow or red; and when you back up, it's white. As long as you can get those colored bulbs to shine through, it's all good. If a cop pulled you over, you could just prove it to him that they work.

the only 50 state wide DOT approved colors for lights are amber/white/red. I know even some cops bitch about red but technically it is legal. In no way is blue legal. Not only can you be fined for non DOT approved light bulbs you are also looking at impersonation of a police officer which is not something you want to get into.

Yea those 'blue' MR2 tails look photoshopped but the car is probably a show car only so it gets no road useage. Those are way illegal. I dont know where ur from but here in FL we CANT have blue in the front, or in the rear. Only Amber or 'white' (as in just a clear bulb) for blinkers...oh and Welcome to AF :D

yeah, those definitely aren't really blue - they just made the image have more blue than red or green. (Every image on a computer screen consists of a variation of three colors - red, green, and blue - just in case someone doesn't know)

My friends got solenoids and his car battery died out like the second time he used it and he was stuck in the rain... he had to take the train home... If i get the solenoids from autoloc http://www.autoloc.com/detail.lasso?itemid=svpro5

would i have to get all the accessories on the bottom?
