Hello everyone.

I am new to this forum and could use some help. My wifes 2000 Neon SOHC is due for a timing belt. I believe in preventative maintanence since I am a mechanic by trade. (Class 8 trucks) Could someone give me the procedure for changing the timing belt? I changed the oil today and can see that it is pretty tight up at the front of the engine. Do I pull the right front tire and inner plastic cover? Any info will help. Thanks

Joe

If so you will want to do the tensioner and water pump at the same time. I know there is a website that has the 2000 FSM in a PDF form. I will see if I can find it for you.

*edit* Found a how-to for ya...
