I didn't pass inspection and I have 4 days to solve a rear wiper problem - that I didn't know existed because I don't use it. No power that I can tell. The cost to replace the unit is Ridiculous! DC DMV says if it's on your car, it has to work!

Fuse? Motor gone bad? Where do I find the fuse and how can I test it?

Any suggestions before I hit the local mechanic?

Best,
Miranda

If you have the owners manual it will show a fuse diagram. The rear wiper/ washer is fused alone so a blown fuse would not affect anything else. On my 95, the fuse for the rear wipe/wash is at the top of the fuse block (under the dash to the left of the steering wheel). It will take a 25 amp fuse. Try that and hopefully it will be all you need. Repair of the motor will require the removal of the liftgate trim panel. Not too bad of a chore.
