Motor questionsjaav 12-06-2005, 12:57 AM I have a 2002 honda civic LX, I bought it because I needed a car.But I soon realised that it's not very fast. And I haven't found many mods for it.So I'm thinking of doing an engine swap. What is the best engine that will fit in my car? What other mods will I have to do that come with the engine swap? What's up with emissions, when I go to emissions will I fail because the motor is different,or do they not care about the engine that is in the car,and do the test accprding to the engine? I have no idea how it is where you are. Not trying to be hard on you, but trying to help you realize that maybe screwing with your ride isn't the best thing to do. iVteC_PoWeR 12-08-2005, 11:41 PM if he has the money he just needs to know what he wants and get it to a shop who knows what their doing...but you do need to be more specific in your post because the more info you give us the more we can give back jaav 12-09-2005, 01:46 AM if he has the money he just needs to know what he wants and get it to a shop who knows what their doing...but you do need to be more specific in your post because the more info you give us the more we can give back Alright,I'll try to be more specific in my posts.I have to get some money first, what I plan to do to my car is going to cost alot, but I don't plan on doing anything major right now. Well, let us know how much you want to spend, or what you want to do, and we can maybe give you more of an idea of your cost/route to take. also, searching the forums is a good way to get info. the FAQ in the general Honda area, as well as in the 6th gen (96-00) civic area, is a good place to start. jaav 12-10-2005, 11:31 PM Cool, thanks for the input.
