Ranger Bronco II trans swap

I was wondering if a transmission from a 86Ranger would fit into a 86BroncoII both 4x4...my trans leaks extremely bad in myBronco and ive been told it would fit by some places and some say it wont please help?

Any ideas where i can get a trans for it if it doenst fit?

Go for it. Everything will fit just fine. Been there, done that.

Ooops I forgot one thing....they both must be 2.9L engines. If the ranger is a 4 cyl then the bell housing is different.

yup theyre both 2.9s...so it will bolt directly up with no problem??
