Does the cap pop on over the lug nut after they are tightened?

wow, someone actually using this forum again.
to answer your question. the cap is held on by the lugs. what i did was to put the cap where it belongs then start 3 lugs by hand to hold it in place. the metal "fingers" are held tight by the sholder on the lug nuts. then you can put the other two on without holding the cap and tighten the lugs all to spec. hope that helps ya
