ok my right turn signal dont work at all, when i push the turn signal switch up nothing happens, the arrow on the dash doesnt even illuminate, what could cause this,. could it be a blown fuse?

yeah check your fuses, but if they're fine it's probably your headlight switch thing... i'm not sure about your year, but the z31's are notorious for having funky things happen when the switches go bad (ie headlights not working, randomly coming on, flashing, all that fun stuff)

he has a Z32. i would begin by checking your fuses. if they are all fine, i would replace the bulb and see if that helps. if that doesnt work, you might have to replace the switch.

its probably a fuse but if not it is probably the switch. the gauge cluster light would still come on if both bulbs coincidentally hapened to be blown at the same time.

if the fuse blows when you put it in...you have a short and that is a whole other can of worms for this car. good luck!

the left turn signal works fine, when i push the switch down the arrow on the dash illuminates and the exterior lights blink, but its only when i push the switch up , the right dash light dont work and the exteriors dont work, when i put my flashers on tho all the exterior lights work.

so it could be a blown fuse? where is the fuse located, i am having trouble finding it, also what amp fuse will i need? thanks for your help again

ok i tried changing the fuse and since one fuse controls both the left and right turn signals i replaced it and still nothing was fixed, so i guess ill have to eat the price and take it to a dealer

it is probably the switch. if all your blinkers come on when you turn the flashers on but the blinker doesnt come on when you move the turn signal stick, then it most likely the switch.

okay i am looking for somone that can help me either find a wireing diagram to put a starter on my nissan sentra 94 or if the can try to help me i would appreciate it .... i hope i am doing this chat right i am new to this site srry

kristina try the forum for the sentra, and now back to my problem, i dont think it is the switch because its only when i push it up to put on the right blinker that the dash board light and exterior lights dont work, but the flashers work and the left turn signals and dash board light work fine,,

well, the switch could be malfunctioning. a switch can work in one direction but not the other.

o you think its possible that when i hooked up my alarm i might have forgot to connect a wire or something? could that be causing only way direction to work?

here's an idea, turn on your hazzard lights and see what happens..

i stated in prevoious post that I turned the flashers on and they all worked normally , the dash lights illuminated and the exterior lights worked as well, it is only when i push the turn signal switch up to turn on the right turn signal that the dash light and exterior right turn signal doesnt work

then it's your switch...

yeah...go for the switch. it shouldnt be expensive beings it isnt one of those multi-switches.
