To Basic a Questionjft7032 12-04-2005, 03:17 PM Hey, folks: I am new to this formum and dealing with fuel-injected engines. I have a 1990 Chevy S-10--4.3l, manual trans, 6-cylinder, fuel-injected--that starts fine, runs fine. But when I let it idle, it invariably idles down before dying on me. Where do I begin solving this problem with a fuel-injected system? Thanks for any suggestions. jft7032 Will2 12-04-2005, 04:56 PM New air cleaner(cheapest and easiest) and/or fuel filter and/or sensors and/or PCV valve jft7032 12-05-2005, 08:54 AM New air cleaner(cheapest and easiest) and/or fuel filter and/or sensors and/or PCV valve Thanks for the response, Will2. But my bad. I should have indicated I had already completed these suggested parts switch-outs--and it still misses. Have also changed spark plugs and wires. Will2 12-05-2005, 06:20 PM Possibly a bad injector. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
