my sebring convertible JXI 97 behaves weird sometimes.
The engine runs at 3000RPM without giving any gas.
Even if restart the engine it starts at 3000RPM.
When I have to stop, I have to apply lot of pressure on the brakes and still the car pulls forward. When I release the breaks the Car kicks off to 50MPH by itself without giving any gas.
This symptom happens only when I drive the car at 55-65mph for about 15-20 mins.
What could be the problem.
Please reply, i'm really frustrated.

It's either a vacuum leak or a stuck throttle cable.
