how do i retrieve the engine codes for a 95 metro 1.0L ive tried everything i have found on the net one site said that theres a switch next to the steering colum cant find it

if its a OBD I system look at your fuse box under dash, should be a empty spot that sits a little lower than the others, put a fuse in it and turn the key to on, check engine light will blink out the codes
