95' Impreza Lturtlecrxsi 12-01-2005, 04:57 PM I'm looking to maybe buy a 95' Impreza L 5-speed with 141k miles on it. I haven't seen the car in person yet but here is the link to the Autotrader Listing (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=192975163&dealer_id=56285398&car_year=1995&model=IMPREZ&bkms=1133473884812&lang=en&isp=y&start_year=1995&certified=&search_type=both&distance=100&make=SUB&min_price=&address=29665&advanced=&end_year=1995&max_price=&cardist=65). And here are a couple of pics... http://images.autotrader.com/images/2005/11/28/192/975/2000008091.192975163.IM1.MAIN.565x421_A.558x421.jp g http://images.autotrader.com/images/2005/11/28/192/975/2000008092.192975163.IM1.02.565x421_A.558x421.jpg There is a small dent in the rear quarter panel as shown in the pic. The dealer said he would get it fixed if I bought the car. My question is do y'all think it's worth the price? Are these cars reliable? I've heard you can swap a EJ22 or EJ25 into them, but I'm more interested in simple, reliable transportation for now. Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice. freakray 12-01-2005, 07:03 PM Car looks to be in pretty good shape all things considered, interior is especially clean considering the age. My advice is to take it on a good test drive, watch for excessive exhaust emission and take note of any clutch slippage or other shifting problems, you may just have yourself a little gem there. turtlecrxsi 12-02-2005, 09:16 AM Sweet. I'm thinking about taking a test drive. The place is an hour away and I don't want to waste my time. freakray 12-02-2005, 10:47 AM Heck, you're right down the road from me! turtlecrxsi 12-02-2005, 02:07 PM You're right. I'm at my office desk on S. Pleasantburg at the moment... PMed. 98_Classic 12-07-2005, 08:38 AM Looks like it's in good shape for it's age. Look clean too. I have a Cherokee but i love the WRX. I hope it will be my next car. This is the one want... http://www.subaru.com/media/image/2006/impreza/wrxstisedan/photos/photo3_lg.jpg carbuzzard 12-09-2005, 09:26 PM I think you have a real winner here. Anyone who's taken that good care of the interior has likely done as well mechanically. Still, if you could arrange to ahve an independent garage look at it, it would probably be worth the money. Of course, you should always negotiate. They ought to knock a couple hundred off because them's the rules. But Kelly Blue Book retail price on that is $4,145. Your price is almost too good to be true. :sunglasse vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
