I am getting ready to turn 16 and am looking at cars. I have always loved to look of a 89-93 Mustang and am considering a purchase of one. Would a 1992 Mustang be too much for a 16 y/o to handle. I read you get 20 mpg and that they are very reliable. Do any of you know what insurance would be? Thanks alot for your help. Tim

First off, if you wreck it, you should be shot! With that out of the way, insurance all depends on where you live and several other factors. Call Geico or Progressive and see what they say. Other factors are dependent on the size of the engine, coupe or conv., type of insurance (liability, full coverage, liability w/comp and collision, etc.), and other factors. When I was 19, I bought a 95 Mustang GT and paid $185 a month for full coverage. Trust me, it was worth it.
