I want a RHD.Street99 11-30-2005, 04:58 AM I want to get into a RHD Integra Type R or Civic Type R. I dont really know how to go about doing this. I have looked at sites that say they import these vehicles. I have heard that it is difficult due to DOT laws and restrictions. What would i have to do to have one imported and what would the aproxamate cost be for importing and legalization. Any information would help. Street99 11-30-2005, 05:01 AM Also would anyone know who i would have to talk to or where i would have to go or any sites that will help with this too. Schister66 11-30-2005, 11:59 AM it costs a lot to import....there are only a few companies that can do it and it isn't cheap at all.....your best bet is to find one for sale....check H-T they might have one. There was a Skyline for sale on HMT the other day too.... Street99 11-30-2005, 12:59 PM Whats HMT or H-t? Is there a website? CivicSpoon 11-30-2005, 01:22 PM H-T is www.honda-tech.com (http://www.honda-tech.com), it's another forum. But I think you have to be on the site for 20 something days before you can gain access to their classified forums. No clue on the HMT though. Schister66 11-30-2005, 05:16 PM HMT is www.homemadeturbo.com There's an occassional RHD car on each of those sites, but they're few and far between....not to mention that they cost a pretty penny duffman868 12-01-2005, 03:09 PM the skyline is like 3000 but dont kid your self you are going to pay tripple that trying to get it registered. a company states that they will get the car delivered and reg as a off-road car for 5000. but that is the first rhd car that i have seen for sale at hmt and that is only because frank is in japan right now. another way is to buy a clip and switch everything over projectsilvia97 12-03-2005, 03:07 PM there's a rhd type r for sale on super honda. here's the link: rhd type r (http://www.superhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=258449) here's a rhd hatchback as well: rhd eg6 (http://www.superhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=160671&page=1&pp=15) exman98 12-04-2005, 03:35 AM not worth the time.
