I'm looking into buying a 2wd full-size truck (because i can only spend about 8-9k and cant afford a decent 4x4) and curious to what tires pull the hardest through sugar soft sand in 2wd? preferably without having to lift it at all. thanks in advance.

I've got a 2001 Isuzu double cab pick-up 2wd and I dropped the beast 2 inches and run 18" centrelines with 265/35X18 on the rear and 245/40X18 on the front. Never been stuck on wet sand with such wide rear tyres, wouldn't try the dry sand though.
