Anyone else have a 524TD or can help out? It has refused to start on occassion. It even quit on me going down the road one night. A day or two later it will start.

Always cranks fine, just doesn't fire up. Being a diesel, I have to imagine this means the fuel isn't being delivered.

I've since added access to the injection pump solenoid wire so that I can bypass the ignition and run it direct from the battery.

Also, I've added wires off the in-tank fuel pump so that I can test it for voltage and bypass its usual power source. I have no idea on how I might test the pump (i.e., flow, pressure) as it is an intermittent problem.

I haven't driven it much, but expect to do some driving (close to home and not for important trips in the event it lets me down again) while I am trying to work on this intermittent problem. Anyone have a wiring diagram for this car or know where to get one?
