HELP! purge solenoid/vapor canister

this is killing me. I have MIL code 31, which is my purge solenoid circuit. Looks like tsb 14-10-96. I have already replaced the solenoid itself, twice, so that is obviously not it. (The dealer did it under warranty).

Anyone have experience with MIL 31? Or the purge solenoid circuit for that matter? How about the vapor canister or vapor harness? I REALLY do not want to go back to the dealer, but I am having trouble lining up the parts without going through them, and they are being a pain.

I love the truck, but hate the check engine light. HELP!!!!?????

Have you got a year make and model and eng and trans 2 or 4W mileage and how many doors and what color?

oh yeah, forgot the details! 1997 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9L, 2wd, Sport Model, auto trans., 2dr, white. thanks!

Code31 branches out 3 ways to 3 different OBD11 p 4 digit codes.
We will need the OBD11 codes to know what way to go.
Get it put on a scanner and post back codes.

0441 - purge soleniod. This is why the canister has already been replaced two times. What are the chances that the third canister, now on the vehicle, is also bad? That's why I think it is more than the canister. Common problem for the 97 rams?
