My python car alarm has decided to go off for no apparent reason. This is happening a lot and angering my neighbors. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

First off, I'd check the sensitivity on the impact sensor. If it's set too high, that would most definately cause false alarms. Do you have any sort of perimeter/motion sensor added on? Those things are touchy, too, and require quite a bit of fine tuning to get the interior and exterior fields to a point where it won't go off. Some other things may be that one of the car's door pin switches may be loose, periodicly "opening" and turning on the dome light which will trip the alarm. Same could be said for any hood or trunk triggers. If you check through the Python manuel, you can actually check which zone was triggered with a few presses of the little black valet/programming button and watching the flashes of the LED. That'll give you a good idea on where to start looking, too. Hope that helps some.
