high beamsredwheeler 11-27-2005, 07:28 PM i want to know if i can make one of those things that make youre high beams go on with ur lows so if ne one has bought one tell me how it works Cailen 11-27-2005, 08:46 PM Why? Do you enjoy blinding fellow motorists? Just go buy some hyperwhite HIDs for $12ea off ebay. redwheeler 11-27-2005, 09:30 PM no i do alot of driving in the middle of no where and there is alot of deer and other wildlife that walk out in to the road and i would like to see them better and when i use my high beams i would like my lows to stay on Cailen 11-28-2005, 01:23 AM Ohh I understand... sorry, I misunderstood what you were asking. I'd still suggest you invest in some new superwhite HIDs rather than jimmy rig something your truck wasn't supposed to do. 9005s for your high beams, 9006s for your lows if you want to replace those too.. Rmbodie 11-28-2005, 06:57 AM I would agree . These things have enough trouble with wiring without trying to pull that much extra power thru the headlight switch . and having both filaments burning at the same time might cause overheating the lens and crack the first time rain hits it hot. Rob redwheeler 11-28-2005, 10:48 AM no they sell kits to do this i replaced the bulbs with silver star and it can handle it mike1224 11-28-2005, 12:13 PM check http://jcw.com it should be a headlamp relay, you can run all 4 lights simultaniously (sp?) redwheeler 11-30-2005, 12:50 PM yeah but i want to just build one blazer_guy86 11-30-2005, 11:59 PM You can also go to www.summitracing.com and they have them for about $20. I have replaced my headlights with the simulated HID bulbs. 100 watt high beams and 80 watt low beams. I have to say i am impressed in the look and visibility they give me.
