Rain water is getting behind my firewall and draining into passenger side floor. Any ideas how to stop the leak? Is there a drain that may be clogged up?

Thanks.

Keith

I'm not sure if this is your problem but on my '01 Impala here's what I find... If you open your passenger side door and stick your hand into the bottom of the fender opening behind the front tire you will feel a piece of sound insulating material... Push your hand behind it and feel for leaves and stuff (you need a small hand to fit)...I get lots of leaves and other crap stuck in that area from the bottom to mid-way up... I believe there's a drain hole in the bottom of this area... Just clean out all the crap, from bottom to top and see if this allows the water to drain out... Use a hose to test... Spray water on the top of your hood over this area and you should see it drain out the bottom... Hope this helps...
(Obviously this applies to the driver side also)

I've experienced/heard of 2 issues that cause this:
1.) Weather Stripping under the windshield windshield-wiper area.
2.) Clogged AC Drainage.

Hope this helps...

Keith, Have you had the windshield replaced or repaired lately? My G/friends started doing the same leaks after replacing the windshield. The company that did the work re-installed at no charge, and the problem was gone!! Hope you get it corrected.
