95 engine in a 97halfprice5 11-26-2005, 04:59 PM I failed to notice the diffrence in the motors. The 95 does not have a crank sensor like the 97. Can I install a 95 computer without any other changes? If wiring changes are needed can I just swap pins on the connector or do I need to install a 95 harness(almost as much work as pulling the engine it looks like). If I need to swap pins around where can I find diagrams to guide me? Crvett69 11-27-2005, 09:49 PM you can swap engine wiring harness and the computer. its not to bad a change. but if you have emmisions inspecting it may not pass DieInterim 11-27-2005, 10:37 PM I failed to notice the diffrence in the motors. (Sensor) Crvett69 11-28-2005, 04:11 AM you don't need to drill anything, just swap the oil pump, thats where sensor attaches vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
