All right gentlemen. I have done it. My front wheel bearings are gone. I bought new ones at the dealership but do not want them to change them for me as those dumb pricks will screw something else up. I don't know if this is the way it is with dealerships in the USA but it sure is in Mexico.

My question is what type of grease should I be using and is there anything else I should be careful of? I am planning on taking it to a mechanic but I just want to be doubly sure.

I forgot to mention it is a 2003 V6 Non supercharged 4 x 4 Xterra

Any grease suitable for wheel bearings should be fine. I'm sure whatever shop you take it to will have something suitable.
