99, 3.8L AWD , change plugs HOW???DGauss 11-26-2005, 01:29 PM I have a 1999 grand caravan with a 3.8 Liter. with all wheel drive. I have been under it (having seen some post), over it, in it, I am considering pulling the alternator to see if I can reach the plugs from that end. Has ANYONE done the rear three plugs on that engine and HOW ????? Suggestions PLEASE !! Also I would change the plug wires at the same time. I did it from below once but last time I took intake off. Sounds hard but isn't. 4 bolts hold big part of intake to a small valley intake manifold. You dont have to take this valley intake off the heads. Only other part is disconnecting egr line from bottome of intake by throttle body.
