vanity mirror lightkat0201 11-26-2005, 11:50 AM My 2002 Sebring's left hand side vanity mirror light do not come on when you flip open the mirror. Dealer says I have to replace the whole sun visor for $400.00. Is there some way to check the light bulbs or connections in the visor. It is of course not covered under my extended warranty and I can't figure how to get to the bulbs with out distroying the fabric on the visor. thanks catnypt 11-26-2005, 11:15 PM The maual does say "The vanity lamp is incorporated into visor assembly. If the lamp needs to be replaced the entire visor must be replaced. The bulbs are serviced separately" So if it is just a bulb out it goes on to instruct... "use a pick or other suitable tool, pry the lens from the lamp". It appears that you lift up lens to access the lamp/bulb. I can fax you the page with diagram of lens removal and bulb replacement if you like. I should be ablre to look up the bulb you need by then. email catnypt@aol.com John kat0201 11-30-2005, 12:17 AM Well with your tip I was able to get to the bulbs, thank you. The bulbs look O.K. but I will still try new ones in there to make sure it is not them. I guess I will not be using the light on that side of the car for a while.
