I have a 1995 contour. In order to start this car I have to depress the accelerator. Sometimes i have to pump the accelerator a number of times before it starts. I have replaced the fuel filter, had the fuel line,injectors cleaned. this did not help. Any ideas?

sounds like you need a new idle air control valve.some people clean them with brake clean sometimes it works ,sometimes not
