what's up guys. I'm ready to order the TEIN NAs for my 2002 G20. I did my share of research on them but i also want to get some last minute input and information on the TEINs before i order and have them installed. I already know that the TEIN NAs are not really considered a "coilover" spring although they have a height adjustability of only 3 settings: 1.3" 1.7" and 1.9" I heard that most of the people who ride with the TEINs, ride on the 1.7" drop. Sounds like a winner to me. When having them installed, are there any things I should have them do specially? or are there any particular things i should look out for when they're intalling ? like for instance, the shocks are adjustable to correct? what settings should they be at? For those of you who have adjusted your TEINs numerous of times yourself, how hard is it to adjust? is it as simple as just removing the wheel/tire first, then adjusting the spring w/ a certain tool ?? how about the bump stops? I don't want them to rub right? the guys who install the suspension, should i tell them to watch out for those and not hit them? Since i'm paying a good amount of money for the suspension , i really just want it done right and with quality. I don't want a screwed up bouncy ride. that's why i need as much input and information from you guys as I can so I know what to tell the installers what and how i want them installed (if certain things i should look out for). I appreciate it guys ! thanks

the only part that i would be VERY particular about i when the guys install the top mounts onto the NAs. DONT EVER let them use air tools when they mount the top mounts. it will damage the piston. they need to use hand tools only!

the install is pretty easy and I recommend you do it yourself. all you need is a decent jack and 2 jackstands. you need to lift both tires off the ground (front both or rear both) when you ready the front/rear so that the sway bar doesnt get into the way. it comes with good instructions (pictoral)

i think there are 5 height settings and I am using the one that it came in...which is 2nd from the lowest. its not a bad ride, but if I was to redo it, i would go one notch up. ...but it is kind of a hassle. you need to dissasemble the entire strut to change ride height so you might wanna consider the ride height before you install it. but the 2nd from bottom height looks very good. :p

the damper adjustment is accessable from the top. on the rear, you will need to take off a tad of the trunk liner from the inside of the car. you should set it 12 clicks from full hard (go full clock wise, then go 12 clicks ccw). should be a good setting.

leave the bumpstops stock no cutting! unless you use the lowest height (which I highly dont recommend).

goodluck.
