98 GC Ltd 5.2 misses at cruise speedschadicenhour 11-24-2005, 04:06 PM Hello, I'm new to the forum and to Jeeps. I want to start out by saying that I have a known problem to begin with. I want to know if it is related to my slight miss at cruise speeds. Anyway, after the jeep sits for a while it is hard to start unless I prime the engine with fuel about 5-10 times by turning the key on and off. Apparently my fuel is bleeding back into the tank and not staying pressurised. According to a tech I was talking to there was a TSB on it and it had to do with a check valve or fpr on the fuel pump. He said an O ring needs to be replaced. Now while I'm driving at 60mph in OD slightly resting foot on the gas pedal, I get a slight miss or so it feels like it. It seems that sometimes while accelerating I can feel it too, but mainly feel it when "lugging" on it. It has 77,000 miles on it with a new tuneup. Please respond with any help. Thanks in advance. -Chad vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
