11/24/05 This is a problem I've been dealing with for the last year...>
My GC is having intermittent "no Crank" problems. My battery is less that a year old. The vehicle has a new PCM (computer) and dealer installed a new starter about two months ago. After about a month and a half the problem has come back and gotten worse. I never know when I'm going to come out to my car, turn the key, and nothing happen. The battery is holding a charge so I don't think it's the battery. Starter relay was replaced with starter. I'm not sure but cold damp weather seems to make it worse. I am now starting to suspect the wiring coming off of the battery to the starter...maybe it's not getting a good ground or the wires are bad. ( note: I've checked the Park/neutral switch by moving the shifter to neutral...no change ) The only other cause I can think of is the (key) starter switch itself. Anyone else got any ideas. Rob

I had a similar problem with my plymouth voyager. I was told it was probably the master fuse. It ended up being the battery wires in my situation. Maybe you could check both? Good luck.

I finally got this thing figured out. It turned out to be a problem with the Hot wire going to the starter. When I get a chance I just might go ahead and replace all the wires seeing that they must be about eight years old.
The story was that once again I was having a "no crank" situation when just by chance, a buddy (a mechanic ) happened to be dropping off one of the company cars. He got curious when I told him I was having a problem with my car. I already knew that the relay was working because the night before (while another working buddy) turned the key I could hear the relay clicking away. I figured it must of been the wires or the connection seeing that the starter was only two months old. Anyway, while I turned the key, "mechanic buddy" starts pulling on the (red) connection and "whoa-la"....it starts right up. I suppose it would be fine if I just retighten the connection but after dealing with this problem for over a year, this baby's going to get new wires just to be sure.
