I have a 1995 hardtop camaro. I am thinking about cutting the roof and putting t-tops in. Could anyone give me a little info on how you did it, how much I could expect to pay for that and where I could look for most the parts. I plan to do all the work myself.

me and my brother did it to my 98 camaro...it was pretty rough but so much fun...we were very careful so we spent about 20 actual hours working...i got the ttops from a junk yard for $100...a pillars and weatherstripping and mounting brackets and center t bar for $150...all together i had around $300 in it... here are some pics of us putting them in. tools you need are sawzall, dremel for cutting out spot welds, cut off wheel for the roof, a marker for marking cuts, sharp knife, big screw driver, some blankets, and a lot of time and patience.

i bought the t bar, a pillars, mounting brackets, and weather stripping off of ebay. the t tops i found at a junk yard pretty cheap out of a wrecked 97 camaro. if you cant find them at a junk yard i would recommend buying them from ebay because it will be so much cheaper than buying it from gm...i had to buy the dremel too...got it from walmart, if you buy one make sure you buy an electric one, the battery one we started off with kept going dead!

Wow, that is a project. I have a 2000 camaro and I would like t-tops but I'm not a tool person and I hvae no idea of what I would be doing. not willing to pay I'm sure the $2000 to have someone do it too.

Yeah it shouldn't be that hard. My dads '94 aready has the t-bar part for some reason, so it has either had t-tops before or it was made so you can add it on real easy.
