Howdee I think the pcm is on its way out?
Heres whats up:
runs at idel or not,like it has a racing cam in it.
Smooths out around 2500 to 3k. from 1st to 4th gear.
5th gear runns like crap,looses power real bad till you shift back to 4th.
Runns great down hill {hehe}
cruize control went out the same time the trouble started.
Ive done the usual code checks,replaced some sensors but nothing
changed?
Checked the coil and wires both good and in spec.
also changed spark plugs 3 different times and makes,no change.
Anyone have the same problems?

First of all you don't have a 6-speed tranny. All manual neons are only 5-speed. Have you checked your spark plugs and/or changed them? If you haven't replace them with the stock champion copper plugs or NGK's. The neon does not the platinum or split-fire plugs.

If your PCM is going out, you would experiecne worse things. You would get weird codes that don't mean anything when you do the key dance.

ps it dident make a diff still runs like crud did noticed when its cold it will run smooth but not for long.
