I looked up Blake Cherry on Google, and didn't get anything. Wish I could be more helpful. chuck16 11-24-2005, 11:25 AM Yeah they look nice. It almost looks like they took 03+ and smoothed them out... Update Well I looked for 1/2 hour and couldn't find anything that resembled those lights... Just ask the seller a question on eBay maybe he can tell you where he got'em??? BlenderWizard 11-24-2005, 02:59 PM I'm thinking "blake cherry" should be "black cherry" 01silverado03z400 11-24-2005, 07:48 PM Yeah they look nice. I tried asking the seller but its being sold by a dealership and they dont know. :frown: 01silverado03z400 11-24-2005, 08:06 PM They were probably custom made. But they kinda look like those black smoked in tail light covers except in cherry. jeverett 11-25-2005, 05:27 PM All they are is a set of 99 or so tails that have been candied. Not a hard process at all and you can make any taillight look like that. 01silverado03z400 11-25-2005, 06:51 PM All they are is a set of 99 or so tails that have been candied. Can u explain the candying process to me or does it have to be done by a specialist? jeverett 11-26-2005, 03:27 PM From what I've read, you take the lights out, sand them good (lots of sanding involved) to scuff the finish so the paint sticks. Then use Testors Candy Apple Red paint. Most use about 5 coats, wet sanding with 600 grit between coats then they sand the final coat of red again and then use about 3 coats of a good clear coat such as DuPont. Sorta how the 03's look. jeverett 11-28-2005, 01:40 PM Yeah, I would definately recommend taping off the clear part if not for the cops, so you can see at night backing up! Shit, who needs to see when your backing up, I can barely see going forward!! jeverett 11-29-2005, 08:19 AM If I didn't have reverse lights, I'd have a dented ass truck....I guess I'm just good like that :D vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
