Have a 01 Limited Edition. The door will unlock on it's own after being locked manually or using the remote. This happens wheather the car is running or not. The trunk use to open on it's own. This happen very in frequently unlike the doors. They malfunction almost daily. Can anyone give me any insight as to a possible cause for this. The car only has 48k on it. Still under warranty plus an extended with deductable.

Sounds like you have a bad remote.. Take the Battery out of your remote . If you have another remote use that in the mean time.. or if you can tough it out go without a remote for a while and see if the problem goes away
