Hello,

I just replaced my fan clutch and now when I drive my truck it sounds like a wind towel unitl the truck heats up and it's once again quite. I don't know how it's supposed to sound because I think the clutch was bad ever sense I bought the truck. I'm just just shocked how loud the truck is.

Thanks, Rick

It's normal for one to be loud for the first 5 or so minutes.

What he said.

From a quick Google search:

Q. My fan clutch makes a loud noise when started cold. Is that normal?
A. Yes, most fan clutches allow the fluid to drain into the working area when shut down. At startup it may take 1-2 minutes for the clutch to slow down.
