I have a 1994 JGC Laredo. I have been having problems w/ my electrical system, but I think it is in the battery cables. It looks like someone rigged them up, they have electrical tape on them. The bolt for the positive cable is stripped out so it is a little loose, but I cannot find any new cables in any of the parts stores that say they are the right ones for my jeep. Did they use some sort of specialty wires or something? Please help, I am not very smart about these things and need my jeep. It is my only mode of transportation.

unless you go to a dealer parts dept and pay 3 times what they are worth, you wont find a set just for the jeep. after market are ussually generic in size. as long as they are long enough and not in the way of anything. they're good.
