That's a better question.

Most people with STI would go with turbo-back exhaust. Which means less restrictive downpipe + cat back.

There are zillion companies that make cat-backs.

There are at least dozen companies that make down pipes. Cobb, Invidia, Helix, Perrin, to name a few. I know Cobb and Helix and a few others make them with high-flow cats, others are catless. I would go to cobb and read their stuff.

After that, most people will do engine managment like Cobb AP, UTEC, ecutek, etc. Or, others would work on suspension mods like bigger sway bars, strutbraces, coilovers, etc. I personally think that sway bars are great mod for the $$$.

It all depends on what you want from the car. If you are just going straight on a drag strip (I hope people with STI have a bit more brains than that) , then you get TBE and ECU remap. If you want to actually drive it, you go with suspension first.
